What is the TOEIC Listening section?

How long is the full TOEIC Listening & Reading test?

How is TOEIC Listening scored?

Listening is reported on a scaled score from 5 to 495. The Listening + Reading total is reported from 10 to 990.

When will I receive my Listening & Reading scores?

ETS Global states that computer-based tests typically provide digital score reports within the day, while paper-based tests take about 10–15 calendar days after the test date. If you took the test through an institution, they may provide scores directly.

How long are TOEIC scores valid?

ETS Global confirms TOEIC scores for two years after the test date.

Is TOEIC pass/fail?

No. TOEIC tests are not pass/fail; institutions set their own score requirements based on their needs.

Do wrong answers reduce my score?

No. ETS Global notes there is no penalty for wrong answers, so it’s best to answer every question.
